Wow, it's been forever since I've posted a fic! That is mainly because I've been working so long on this one, and trying to get it finished before I began posting. Well... it's not quite finished, but it almost is, and I'm hoping that it will be by the time I've gotten all the completed chapters up. I'm gonna try to post a new chapter every few days.

This is dedicted to the lovely  caelieth , to whom I promised a "Colin whompage" fic ages ago. I set out trying to write her dream fic, and while I'm sure I haven't come close to that, I enjoyed writing this story so much and I hope it means half as much to her as it does to me, because she is awesome. So, Merry Christmas Cae, and thanks for being such a great friend. I hope you like it. *big squishy hug*

This first chapter is a short one, and actually more like a prologue. But since the events of the next chapter take place immediately after this one, it seemed more appropriate to call it Chapter One. *shrugs* I dunno. Anyway, on to the story...
