Okay, my turn to fess up...

I wrote for Caelieth, who asked for "Ryan/Colin romancy type stuff or Clive/Greg, or Greg/Jeff, or a gen friendship ficcy."

The length kind of ran away with me, so I divided it into two posts in my journal.
The First Bit
The Second Bit

I was pretty nervous about this endeavor... Hope you liked it :)

Summary: They'd lived with the unspoken, unacknowledged secret for decades, and somehow they thought it would be okay. Yet the truth turned inwards, suppressed, becomes a seeping, aching poison, and eventually what brought them together was what forced them apart. But their friends can only watch this slow slide into failure for so long. Somebody ought to do something...

In tried and true Holly writing fashion, I was working on something totally different when this came to me, so naturally I dropped that to work on it instead. It's contains angst, mild language, and a very contrived plot-device.

In two posts, because LJ is picky about the length, it seems..

Do you know what joy is? Man. I'd never seen such fucking joy. )

I started writing one fic, got sidetracked into another, which spawned a third idea, which ended up totally different from how it started out, and somehow in the midst of all that, this turned up. :)  Sometimes I love insomina.

Lions and tigers and prose, oh my... )

Hi again!

I wasn't sure whether to post this or not, as it's not exactly prose, but it is very much a Col/Ry piece. And it begged to be written. It seemed to me that two people who belong together, ought to be. But sometimes, for whatever reason, they can't. Like that old, biting cliche: "Sometimes love isn't enough..."

Yay first contributionary post... )
