Luke stared at them, as if undecided and trying to make up his mind. "Uncle Ry, Dad, Mac... I can't do this but I'm in a shitload of....well it's beyond trouble."

Even after spending most of his adult life doing improv and landing on his feet, Ryan was at a loss. And Ryan at a loss was an angry Ryan

"YEAH, I'LL SHOW YOU TROUBLE KID. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO SAM... AND MAC AND WHERE THE FUCK IS CLAIRE?"

"Dad," Mac said softly, putting her hand on his arm, "Let him talk, please." 

Ryan found Colin at his other side, and their hands naturally claimed each other. That, and Mac's gentle voice caused Ryan to immediately calm down, but he couldn't keep the anger completely out of his voice. "Okay, Luke, tell us."

"Um... ok, you remember that Movie, 'Clash of the Titans'?  All those beings that were called gods and all were real, but just another species. 

There was this Gorgon character in there, Medusa? Well she was real too. She was was tricked and deceived someone eventually killed her and she was wronged in so many ways.

Before she was killed, she had a child, a girl. and vowed that each generation, one child would be born. and it would always be a girl, until a boy would be born. When he reached maturity, he would wreak vengeance for Medusa upon humans and gods alike."

My mother was a descendant of her as I am. I'm supposed to be her vengeance. But I don't want to do this.... Please, help me.?"

Colin spoke first. "Where's your mother?" "Oh Dad, she's like this high priestess of a group that wants me to...
