Last part! Thanks to everyone who's stuck by this! And I'm sorry it took so long, had a lot of crap to deal with over the past week. Good news though - my flu is now gone! Got another chaptered story in the works so if you like my writing, watch out for my next one! Might be a while though, I'm going to actually plan this one out :P

Promises - Part 9
Do you know that way when you're woking up by something, you spend a couple of minutes thinking about what it could be and decided whether it's worth waking up for? That's what I'm doing. I could smell something delicious, and now I'm lying in bed wondering what it could be. My stomach's rumbling, so I've already decided that I'm going to wake up. But I don't feel Colin in my arms. I'm only panicking slightly, he could be making lunch which is causing the smell, or he could've gone to the toilet. I eventually snap my eyes open and find him standing over a trolley, wearing a housecoat, serving up a full lunch - eggs, bacon, beans, sausages, everything that makes a really good breakfast if we hadn't slept right through it.
"Morning Captain."
He tries to throw me an annoyed look, but it's betrayed by his little smile, the one that shows off his adorable dimples.
"Morning Chicken."
"What you got there?"
"Lunch for me, corn for you."
This time, I throw him an annoyed look. I succeed in holding my laughter in for a couple of seconds, but I'm not gonna last long. Whenever Colin looks at me with that 'Why are you laughing?' look, it makes me laugh even harder. And that's currently the look being thrown my way.
'No, c'mon Ry Guy! You can beat him!'
'You're back are you?'
'Yip. I was here throughout it all. Told you everything would be alright if you just told him.'
'Fuck off, you told me just to forget him when he left!'
'I may have judged him too quickly. Now shut up and get some lunch, we're starving.'
Irritated that I managed to hold my laughter in, Colin walked over with the two plates full of food, and we sit in silence munching our way through lunch. I watch him as we eat. He catches my eye, and I see a glint of mischief in it. People always think that I'm the mischievous one, but it's actually Colin. I'm the crude one, but Colin's the one who will come up with the dirtiest stuff and then use the puppy dog eyes to get out of being in trouble. He sticks his fork in a sausage, and slowly puts it in his mouth, moaning when the taste of it hits him. He runs his tongue up and down it, before biting a tiny bit off and moaning loudly as he chews. I can't help but sit with my mouth hanging open. I'm not wearing anything, so my arousal is obvious. But I don't care, to Hell with lunch, I just want to take him. He spots me staring at him.
"Something wrong Ry?"
I growl at him, put both the plates on the floor, before attacking his lips with my own. He lies us down so I'm lying on my back and he's straddling me, continually exploring my mouth with his tongue. I can't help but thrust my hips up to meet us, trying desperately to create some friction where I need it most.
"Not hungry anymore?" He asks me in a too innocent voice.
"Nooo." I moan, I need him, now. He leans down to kiss me again, but at the last second, swerves his head and attaches himself to my neck. I feel him biting gently, running his tongue over the bite, before gently biting again. It hurts, but it only serves to get me hotter. He's planting kisses all around the bite, before he sits back up, looking pleased with his handiwork.
"There." he states, "Now, you're mine."
I bring my hand up to feel my neck, and it hurts when I push down on the area where he bit me. "Have you given me a love bite?" He simply grins back. "Jesus, Col, I can't hide that very well."
"I don't want you to hide it."
"People will ask questions."
"I don't care." He's being serious now. "I messed everything because I was scared of being with you, Ry. I was scared that you wouldn't love me back, and I know you do now -" He stops me before I even have a chance to protest - "and I was scared of what everybody would think. What we even come out? Would we have to hide it?" He suddenly averts his eyes to my chest, slowly running his finger over inch of it. I'm struggling to pay attention to what he's saying rather than his hand and how much I'd like it somewhere else. "And I'm scared about something else too." He mumbles. I place my hand over his to stop him distracting me.
"What are you scared of Col?"
He looks back down at me, his eyes shining with tears. "Pat." My heart stops. I had totally forgot about my wife. Well, if you could even call her my wife.
'I'm with you on this one Ry Guy. You know that she's been screwing around.'
'She hasn't. She hasn't done anything wrong.'
'I was trying to make it easier for you. But let's face the fact here.'
'Fact? Just one?'
'Yeah. Have you or can you ever love your wife as much as you love Colin?'
'No.'
'There you go. You didn't even need to think about your answer. You know what to do.'
I do know. I first make sure that Colin is looking at me. I raise my left hand, and watch him wince when he sees my wedding ring. I take it off, and throw it to the other side of the room. He looks at me in shock and confusion for a couple of seconds, before locking his eyes with my own again and smiling.
"You'll leave her for me?"
"Of course. I love you more than I could ever love her." He responds to this by leaning down and capturing by my mouth in a brutal kiss. I can feel my lips bruising but I push back into the kiss. He opens his mouth to me and I kiss him in a way to let him know that he is mine and mine alone. I pull back slightly, so I can brush kisses against his jaw. I open the belt to his housecoat, and start slowly stroking him while he does the same to me. I kiss my way along his jawline, before reaching his neck. I kiss that spot which makes his quiver a couple of times before gently biting him. He marked me as his, and now, I'm marking him as mine. I keep soothing the area, before biting a bit harder. When I do, he squeezes me roughly, and I can't help but groan loudly. My biting is obviously helping him too, if his thrusting is anything to go by. I begin pumping him furiously, still continually biting his neck. I pause for a second and look at my work. There's a big purple and red mark appearing on his neck. He's mine.
Suddenly, there's a knock at the door. "Ryan? You there?" It's Drew.
I clear my throat. "Yeah?"
"Do you know where Colin is?" I look at Colin and panic.
"He's um, he's here."
"Finally, I've been looking all over for him!" Drew's voice comes through the door. "We're all meeting in like twenty minutes to discuss the games list for tonight."
"Alright, we'll meet you down at the bar."
We can hear Drew's footsteps leading away from the door, and we look at each in disappointment. Our hands are still wrapped around each other. Very slowly, Colin begins to pump his hand again. "You know, we should really get a shower."
"Really?" I pant. In return, I begin pump him hard but slow, and apparently, he loves the combination.
"Really." He sits up and pulls me up along with him. We meet for another brutal kiss, and we both pick up the pace of our pumping. We both know that we've not got a lot of time left. I moan as I feel the warmth stirring in my belly.
"Ryan...." Colin whispers. He continually steals kisses from me, stopping only to breathe which is becoming more and more difficult.
I can feel the end approaching, but I want something else. "Come with me, Colin." He moans in reply, telling me that he's close too. "Come with me, baby." I give him a final tug and he explodes over my hand. When he comes, he squeezes me roughly in response, and I'm coming too, shouting my love for him. I fall back onto the pillows, and he follows me. We lay there panting for a few minutes.
"How long...we...got left?" He asks me.
"About fifteen minutes." I reply.
"I'll go in the shower first." He makes to move but stops when he sees me following him. "What are you doing?"
"Sharing the shower. Not enough time for us to go seperately. We'll be late."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Turns out we were late anyway. And we were caught too. Greg, Brad, Drew and Jeff were already down there. Eyesbrows raised when we came in, sat down and gave each of them a smile. We worked through the order of the games rather quickly, and then decided to stay and have a few drinks.
We are currently on beer number seven if I remember right. Colin mentioned the episode of Whose Line with the cat, and we're laughing so hard that tears are falling from all our faces. I tug the collar of my t-shirt up to wipe the tears away.
"Ryan, what's that on your neck?!" Brad shouts. I quickly put the t-shirt back down before he could have a better look but Drew attacks me from the other side, pulling the collar down until he could get a good look.
"Jesus, it looks like you were mauled!" I laugh and share a quick, and what I thought subtle glance to Colin. He's looking very guilty. Guilty enough to be noticed by Jeff, who attacks the collar of his shirt. Colin tries shrugging him off but Brad holds his arms in place.
"Colin's got a matching one! Yours is bigger though!"
The four of them have a good laugh, before Greg turns to me. "So was it a hooker, or do you boys have something to tell us?"
I look to Colin for help. And he just looks back in shock. Should we tell them?
'Just tell them!'
"Well, it's nothing special." I start. Colin's face falls in defeat.
'He thinks you're embarrassed by you two."
'I know, but you should know what I'm thinking.'
'This time I don't Ry Guy.'
"But, um, well, we've finally faced facts." I reach over and take Colin's hand in my own. He looks up at me and his eyes instantly fill with love and admiration. "I've found my soul mate."
There's a chorus of cheers around the table.
"How long?" Drew asks.
"3 days." Colin tells them, pride in his voice, not taking his eyes off me.
There's then a chorus of swearing around the table, and money exchanges hands. Eventually, Greg ends up being the richest and wears a very smug look on his face.
"What was that all about?" I ask him, more curious than angry.
"There's been a little bet on between us if you were together, and also how long." Drew explains.
"And Greg won?"
"Plenty."
"How the fuck did you know Greg?" Jeff questions.
"Easy. If they were together, they wouldn't have been able to keep their hands off each other. Ryan's got three kids, so he's either very very fertile, or he has the sex drive of a teenager. I went for the second one. As for Colin, well, it's always the quiet ones that surprise you."
"Let me see again." Drew says, pulling my collar down again. Brad and Jeff examine Colin's bite again. "Christ, you didn't have to maul each other. We'd get the point." Brad states.
We all laugh and then continue drinking. Nobody mentions that fact that we're holding hands, and when Colin leans over to steal a kiss, there are a couple chorus' of 'get a room!' We eventually say goodnight and head back up to the room.
"Be good boys!" Drew shouts as we head into my room.
"I'm always good Drew!" Colin shouts back, before slamming the door. That night, we make love like I've never experienced. And now, watching him sleep in my arms, I'm so happy. I'm glad he came back, I'm glad that I forgave him. I've still not picked up my wedding room from the other side of the room. And I don't think I will. I'm going to phone Pat tomorrow and tell her everything. It's not the way I'd like, I've always been a face-to-face guy, but I want to show Colin that I'm totally committed to this. I wait for Colin to turn over into his favourite position before spooning him from behind. He snuggles into my embrace and I can feel my eyes fill with tears. I love him so much that I think my heart is going to burst. It's cliche, but it's the way I feel.
'All from breaking a stupid promise.'
'Worth it though.'
'Totally worth it. This moment alone is worth every second of pain that I've felt.'
'I know Ryan. I love him too.'
