Disclaimer- The name of the restaurant I made up, but the song is Moondance by Van Morrison I was listening to last night.

Brad couldn’t help but smile at the look of wonder and love on Jeff’s face as he gazed at the Italian restaurant in front of him “Mario’s…our first date” He smiled, remembering fondly.

He held his boyfriend’s hand tightly as they walked into the large restaurant together. The maitre d’ smiled warmly at them both as they walked over to be seated “Good evening signori, have you a reservation tonight?”

“Yes, I booked under ‘Sherwood’” Brad answered, giving a warm smile back as Jeff gave a small, shy smile.

The maitre d’ checked his reserves book “Yes, of course. Right this way” He tucked a couple of menus under his arm and guided the two to a lovely table near the back of the restaurant. He waited until they were seated before handing them their menus and going off to deal with another customer.

“So, what are you having?” Jeff asked, looking down over his menu.

“I think I’ll have the lasagne. How about you?” Brad asked back.

“That’s sounds good, I’ll have that too” Jeff smiled, placing his menu down and placing his hand upon Brad’s, rubbing his thumb over the smooth skin, eliciting a smile from Brad.

A waiter came over and took their orders, as well as a bottle of champagne, leaving them to talk amongst themselves for awhile “You didn’t have to buy the champagne” Jeff said, shyly.

“Can’t I spoil my love once in awhile?” Brad teased “Besides, this is a special occasion, a night to celebrate” He added, kissing Jeff gently on the lips, before kissing his hand, resulting in a blush from the younger man.

After a few minutes, their meals came and they ate in companionable silence, giving each other loving glances over their dinner as they kept smiling at each other. At one point Jeff did get some sauce just above his top lip, but Brad soon got rid of it using his own mouth and tongue, eliciting a small moan from Jeff.

After their meals where finished and half the bottle of champagne had gone, they looked over the menus once more for dessert. Jeff decided on the Amaretto cheesecake while Brad chose the tiramisu. They both enjoyed their dessert and each others as their fed each other bits of their own desserts.

Once the food and empty glasses were taken away, Brad heard a familiar song playing on the speakers overhead “Remember this song?” He smiled.

Jeff picked up on the notes and smiled back “Our song, the one you sang to me as we danced by the river”

Brad nodded and stood up, tugging gently on Jeff’s hand to guide him down to the small dance floor in the middle of the restaurant. They stood together with their arms wrapped around each other, swaying gently to the song.

“I love you so much, Brad” Jeff whispered, his hot breath drifting into Brad’s ear as he deeply inhaled the unique musk of his boyfriend as his hands gently rubbed up and down Brad’s back, causing sparks and tingles flowing through his skin.

“I love you too, Jeff. Which I why I want to ask you this” Brad said as the song finished, getting down on one knee while holding Jeff’s hand “I’ve loved you since the day you wandered into my life, since that first day you’ve joined Whose Line. You have a wonderful personality, you’re beautiful and really a tiger in bed” He winked at that last part, making Jeff blush “Jeff Davis, will you do me the honour of marrying me?”

Jeff felt tears form in his eyes as he smiled down at Brad “Yes, of course I will” He let the tears fall as his now fiancée placed a simple white gold band on his finger, gathering Jeff in his arms and kissed him passionately, the sound of applause around them as they parted, smiling at each other lovingly.
