A/N: My homegirl, Captanonymus, has pointed out that her taggage is misspelled. Could that be fixed, pretty please?

Could it be that simple? Just tell Ryan how he felt )

A question has arisen as of late as to whether we would allow the posting of a certain non-Whose Line piece of fiction. The particular story I'm referring to is for the show True Jackson, VP, which has Greg in a staring roll, playing a character called Max. There is apparently little to no activity in the community in which this story was originally posted, and the author is looking to get a little more feedback from a crowd that might be interested.

Me and the other mods are of two minds about this. Of your four mods, one is very much against it in that it's not Whose Line fan fiction, plain and simple, while one is very much for it and sees it as being basically the same as any AU fiction, and the other two see both good and bad points about allowing it. As a whole, I believe we were leaning towards allowing this story to be posted, but then where do you go from there? Where do you draw the line?

Honestly, we don't know. The whole thing brings up a lot of concerns about the future of the community, the fear of change but the knowledge that change is sometimes good and even necessary, and in wondering about all this, we got stuck. So we decided that this community was made for the members after all, so what do you guys want to see? Where do you stand on this issue? Any comments would be really helpful. :)

Thanks so much!
Clay

IT'S FINALLY DONE! I haven't had the time yet to go through and check all my links and everything, so if you spot a mistake, let me know.

List of eligible stories for the 2009 awards.

NOW IS THE TIME TO BE CATCHING UP ON READING. (And don't forget to play along with Feedback Month while we do so. ^_^) Please use this list to go through and catch up on your 2009 reading with the previous year's categories in mind. (Which will once more be posted under a cut at the bottom.)

And speaking of categories, what do we think of adding a horror/squick category? Yes? No? Please leave a comment if you have an opinion. Also, should "Best characterization of Jeff" be changed? we had it in previous years because of the amount of Jeff fic, but we have a LOT of Chip this year, too, so it doesn't seem to make as much sense. Should we take the Jeff one out (we do have an "other" category) or maybe add a Chip one in? Or just leave it?

The nominations polls will be posted on Friday, January 8th and will be left up for one week. So starting now, that gives everyone about 12 days to read up and nominate their favorite fic. Is this enough time?

I will post reminders throughout the week to nominate and I know it's hard to read through all that fic and pick and choose, but without nominations, the awards can't go through, so PLEASE make an effort to nominate. Thank you all so much! Have fun and happy reading! ^__^
