That's right! It's time again for an honest to goodness Secret Santa, delivered right on December 25th for your reading pleasure. We've already got those wonderful little Advent Calendar Drabbles nuggets to start off the holiday cheer, so let's keep it going with a good old Secret Santa!

What will you get out of this? A personalized fic, written for you by that special someone, delivered into your inbox. A deadline and inspiration for your own writing, and the fact that you are going to make someone very, very happy.

HERE'S WHAT TO DO:

1. Fill out this form below.

2. DON'T post it here. Send me (Clay) an email at clayangel@comcast.net, with the subject "Secret Santa" on or before Sunday, December 9th. Oh, and don't forget to put your LJ name. :)

3. I'll reply and tell you I got it. If you don't get a reply within 12 hours, email me back just to be sure.

4. On the morning of December 10th, you will receive your assignment. You will know for who you will be writing.

5. Reply and say you got it.

6. Then you've got two weeks to write your story. Send your fic TO ME (Clay) by midnight, December 23rd, EST.

7. I send the fics out on on Christmas day, December 25th. You will get one in your mailbox without knowing who wrote it for you (hence the secret part). Much happiness will ensue.

8. From the 27th on, you are free to post your fics in the community and tell the person you wrote for it was you. There'll also be a guessing post on the 26th (we could do it on Christmas, though, if people are around and want to), and if you're guessed there, feel free to post before the 27th. :D

Now, THE FORM. This is what you will send to me on or before December 9th. Fill it out just as you see here, only replacing the given examples with your answers.

Examples: Ryan/Colin romance, Anything with Greg, A UK era fic, Something angsty,...
(Don't be afraid to go more specific with the requests, either. Even though it seems like broader requests would be easier to write, I think it's usually the opposite.)

Squicks (What you definitely don’t want to recieve):
Examples: Anything with Drew, cross-overs, BSDM,...

YOUR GIFT:

Describe what you are willing to write: (remember, the more general you are in this area, the easier it is for me to match you up)
Examples: Everything but sex scenes, only Chip/Jeff...
(feel free to mention your specialty or favorite topic/pairing, but I can’t guarantee a perfect match)

Squicks (What you definitely don’t want to write):
Examples: Threesomes, Some partner cheating on the other,...

Again, with either the sending in of the fic or the actual request, if I don't get back to you within a day, assume I did not get it and pester me until I reply to you. :)
