Title: All I Need
Pairing: Chip/Greg
Rating: PG
Disclaimer: Purely my imagination
A/N: Last part was Greg's point of view, this time its Chip's. Also Britline is mentioned, so if anyone could tell me that Greg and Chip ever did a UK taping together, could you please let me know?

"Chip, this is Greg Proops." Normally I wouldn't look twice at anyone who looked like him, but there was something about him I found oddly sexy. I caught myself staring at Greg a little longer than I should have, creating an awkward moment of silence. Neither of us caught Ryan's obvious discomfort. "Well then, I think we should be getting inside." Ryan cleared his throat, Greg and myself still gawking at each other like horny school girls.

"So Chip, were you ever on the british Whose Line?" Greg asked me, breaking the silence that had fallen over us. "I was for a time, but I wasn't asked back after a while. I was a fan of yours on the show, to me you were one of the funniest performers." Greg smiled shyly knowing I've already seen him on TV. "Why thank you, I don't mean to be rude, but I only think I've seen you once, and it was so long ago I'm not 100 percent sure if it was you." "Oh don't worry about it, I don't really watch many of them myself, so I've only seen some of your shows a few times too." I shrugged, not offended at all.

We reached the green room about 30 seconds later. Dan, Drew, Colin, Wayne and Brad, the guys I met earlier, were already there waiting for us. "Good you guys found Greg, now let's get started." Dan started going over the schedule for the season. For about 15 minutes, I tuned our boss out and focused on Greg. Something about him was drawing me to him. The way he spoke, the way he carried himself, my thoughts were quickly turning perverse so I tried to think of something else.

In the blink of an eye I remembered being told about his last relationship that landed him in the hospital. What that man did to him was absolutely unforgivable. I wanted to hurt him the same way he hurt Greg, but I knew that wouldn't change what happened. No one told me who he was, and I didn't want to know. A pathetic excuse of a man put him in the hospital because he demanded to be treated like a human being. The piece of shit better be glad I didn't know who he was, I'd be thrown in jail for what I would do to him.

I stopped fuming about Greg's relationship and focused on the man himself. The show should have been occupying my thoughts but instead Greg and his past consumed my head. When we were dismissed, my mind came to a screeching halt, and I left for the dressing rooms like the other guys in today's taping . Halfway down the hall, I started to feel uneasy, like I was being watched. I stopped Wayne a few feet ahead of me to tell him about my nerves. "Nothing to be scared of man." Wayne smiled with a hand on my shoulder. "It's your first TV taping in a few years, I'd be scared to. It'll all go away on stage Chip, trust me." "Thanks Wayne, I feel a lot better now." I lied, I still felt like someone was following me, carefully studying my every move. I walked to my dressing room trying to shake my anxiety, although I was failing miserably. A few minutes later, I heard my phone go off when I finished getting ready. Tentatively, I took the call.

"If you try anything with him, I swear to god I will find you and kill you."

I think the lack of research is really hurting your story, not only plot-wise, but in characterizations and character interactions as well. I see you're asking about Greg and Chip in Britline, but it's coming after you're making incorrect assertions about them in the story, and speaking as someone who knows the show and its players fairly well, it's the kind of thing that really startles you and takes you out of the piece, you know?

There's an old adage: Write what you know. Now, generally speaking, we're a group of young women, and we can't really identify with older men, nor with the situations these particular guys have been through, and it's only through research and careful characterization can we really "know" anything about them.

You are writing a story about Greg and Chip (and Tony, I'm guessing from your end line), after all, so it would benefit you to know a little about their canon before delving in. :) Like I said, I've been around and have done some research in my day. If you have any questions, you can feel free to ask me, or I can point you toward information I think might be helpful.

That being said, I do like the direction the story is going in. I do so love a good thriller, and a little crazy!ex action is always fun. ^_^ That's a completely unexpected turn since I was thinking this was going to be a more tame relationship piece, and it's a pleasant surprise. I look forward to seeing where you take this.
