AWARDS NOMINATIONS REMINDER - DUE TOMORROW

We NEED more nominations if we're going to continue. Right now, I only have about...four peoples nominations? Not all of whom are doing every category. And again, I really appreciate that you guys have taken the time out to read and nominate, but I'm going to need a lot more than that if we're going to conceivably go through with the awards.

Nominations are due tomorrow. Do we need more time? Just say the word and it'll happen, but if I don't hear from anyone and I don't get at least ten people nominating, then I can only assume that's there's not enough interest in doing the awards this year.

What it comes down to is that this event, like everything we do here, is for the members. If the members don't want to do it, we're not going to force it on you. :)

I'm hoping people have had the deadline in mind and are waiting till the last day or so to review their choices and go back and read more stories they may not have gotten to yet...

You're the only one who's asked so far. If I get another request, we'll extend it, but we actually have just about enough people nominating (we're one short of where I wanted to be, but that's okay).

But I'd love your input. I spent all today doing my nominating, so I know it takes for-fucking-ever. :P Are there any categories you already had something in mind for? You could throw them up in the poll and not worry about the other ones. And we're more than likely dropping the booze category, too, so you don't have to worry about that one. And voting probably won't go up until Tuesday anyway. I need a day to sort things out. I can keep the polls open until some time tomorrow evening if that helps.

I'm glad to hear you have enough, so don't feel that you have to extend it for me. But if you leave it open until tomorrow, I might be able to nominate.

Nah, it's cool. ^_^ I know it's a pain to nominate. Really, anyone willing to do even a little is such a great help.
