Title: Kisses

Pairings: Greg/Ryan, Greg/Colin, Greg/Wayne, Greg/Jeff, Greg/Brad

Notes: Er... A little piece centering on Greg

 

 

When Greg kisses Ryan it’s always a battle of wills to see who will come out as the dominant, the sharpness of Ryan’s teeth forever contrasting with the bitterness held in that kiss, nicking against Greg’s lips, the sharp metallic tang of blood running through them both. It’s a heady rush that knocks Greg off his feet and Ryan is close behind, an animalistic instinct to just rip into each other and drown in the brutal simplicity of it all. They are never sorry when they survey their scars in the morning light. 

 

When Greg kisses Colin it’s slow and languid, as though they have all the time in the world and sometimes Greg grows impatient with the unhurried flow of it all, as though time is ebbing inevitably away from him. He never stays the night with Colin, he has to get moving once again, catch up with the time he has lost. He never has enough time.  

 

When Greg kisses Wayne it’s always different, they never have the chance to settle into a familiar pattern and Greg always feels uneasy, as though neither of them should be there. He is constantly reminded that this kiss doesn’t contain the thrill of Ryan or the smoothness of Colin. It never feels right.

 

When Greg kisses Jeff it is almost like he is kissing himself, they fit together nearly too well and it always stings but the pain is overridden by need. Jeff takes control without Greg even realising, he is always the first to leave and it strikes a match of annoyance within Greg, he is left with a feeling that he was being used. He is never in control.

 

When Greg kisses Brad he always feels like he is taking advantage, taking possession of something that doesn’t and never will belong to him, he is always the dominant one and uses Brad to get what he wants. He sees nothing in Brad’s eyes apart from the person he truly wants to be with. He always feels like a thief.

 

If Greg ever kissed Chip he would not be able to forgive himself, the one person he wants to be with is the one person he is without, he would give up everyone else in a heartbeat, but Chip believes Greg’s heart doesn’t beat. He refuses to accept Greg’s vices, the side of him that uses people. He is always called a whore.

Wow, the Greg/Jeff one is wonderful. They all are, of course, but that one really stands out to me.

Also, thank the Lord that I'm not the only one that sees Greg as the WL slut. I think this makes my icon wildly appropriate.

Ooh. You know, when I saw the pairings list at the top, I knew this was going to be good. ^___^

You have some amazing descriptions and emotions running through here. I like that you have the Greg/Wayne feeling off. It's almost like one of those things where you're anticipating is so much, but the real thing never compares, and I think that fits them well.

Oooh to the Jeff one. See, I can see all your descriptions and interpretations REALLY well (except for the Ryan/Greg one so much. never really liked the "violent" interpretation of that relationship, but it's still written really, really well ^_^) and anyway, I love the whole bitterness of Jeff always being in control. That's just absolutely intriguing.

And aw to that last one. Greg/Chip fascinates me. Sometimes I think it'd work well and sometimes I think it'd crash and burn. In the meantime it's always cute, though. ^_^

Thanks! I don't know why I have a morbid fascination with Ryan/Greg always being violent, but that just how it ends up :D and the Jeff/Greg thing intrigues me too, I may explore that one a bit further.

Well, it's a common interpretation of their relationship; it's just not one I ever really prescribed to. Bitter and angry I can see, but I guess...maybe I'm just more squicked by violence or maybe certain stories just really turned me off to it. I don't know. But like I said, it was written very well, and it was incredibly enjoyable even over my squick. ^___^

Read this a little while back and never left a comment, but I sure think it deserves one!

I love the way you mapped this out, hinted at things beyond the kisses, referred to other people in each bit. Each pairing has its own special chemistry, and it works so well. I think I like the Colin and Brad kisses most, although it's hard to choose. Love them! ^^
