As I have two to post, and I'm linking to the original posts in my journal, I've put the two in one post - hope that's okay, I figured it'd be better than over-spamming f-lists.

Pairings: Nothing explicit yet, but BYOS.
Rating: PG-13 - again, nothing explicit, but there's some pretty dark material
Summary: When something terrible happens, it's only natural to wonder 'if only'.

Note: Warning - major angst alert! It isn't explicitly stated yet, but there are hints at attempted suicide, so be warned.
This came to me while I was staring at the fanfic100 prompt table and got drawn in by 'If'. It's 1/? because there will be at least one more part to it, but how many more depends on where it goes and how complex it all gets.
