WWB Part 7 and epilogue. Amazingly, I already have another story in the works, but it's a Drew/Ryan. I'll hold off, I seem to be cluttering this board a little much. Enjoy!

Drew didn’t know what to do. He swallowed, trying to be still. “P-Please don’t shoot me…Here, take my wallet-“

“I don’t want your money.” The man’s gruff voice replied. “Get in the van.”

He gestured to a dingy van with no windows. Drew, not wanting to die, scurried into the van and the door slammed shut, driving off.

“He should’ve been back by now!” Brad fretted, pacing the room. “I’ve called him five times, he won’t answer!”

“Brad, calm down!” Ryan told him, standing up and placing his hands on his shoulders. “I’m sure he’s alright.”

At that point, Colin came out of the kitchen, white as a sheet. “Guys? I think you should come in here.”

“Alright, we’ve made the call. They know we have him.” A different voice said, Drew couldn’t see his face through the blindfold. “If all works out, his faggot lover will come to help him.”

Drew’s breath caught. He tried to move but he was bound too tightly. He wanted to scream but his mouth wouldn’t move. He froze as he felt a hand on his head, rubbing his soft hair.

“So, you’re married? I saw the wedding band.”

Drew swallowed. “Yes…to my husband, Brad.” The man cracked him in the head and he cowered. “You sick fuck…fucking faggot…”

“Please, just let me go…what did I do to you?” Drew asked, at the risk of more pain. The man gripped him by the neck.

“You don’t remember me, Carey? I’ve been an important factor in your life. I can’t believe you don’t remember your old pal…”

Drew gasped. “Joe?”

“Finally you get it.”

Drew sighed. “Joe, I’m sorry, it really wasn’t my decision to fire you, Dan made me, I’m sorry-“

“Do you understand what you did to me?” He spat. “My wife left me, took my kids, now she’s a dyke! And it’s all your fault! That rock and the dart was just the beginning of what I’ll do to you…”

“Brad, you can’t go, there’s armed guys over there!” Greg exclaimed.

“I can’t just let Drew stay there! What else am I supposed to do?” Brad said, getting out his keys.

“They wouldn’t have given you their location so easily if they didn’t have a plan to get you.” Jeff said. “We’ll come with you.”

Ryan nodded. “Right.”

Brad looked at them all, deeply grateful. “Okay. Let’s go.”

Drew had left the chair he was sitting in and was tied spreadeagle on a table. He was still blindfolded, and it scared the hell out of him. He heard the creak of a door and footsteps toward him. “Ah, yes, just like I asked…”

Drew tried to shrink away, he wanted to just curl up and disappear. “What are you going to do to me?” He asked, trying to keep his voice from shaking.

“I thought you liked things like this…” Drew gave a spastic gasp as he felt a hand on his belt buckle.

“NO! No, please no…” Drew babbled, having been through this before. He had no desire to repeat the experience. “Please don’t…” The man had finished unbuckling his belt.

“STOP!” A group of voices called, Drew’s head raised up in joy and surprise. “Guys! You came!” He froze as a gun cocked against his head. “Move and he dies.”

He heard Brad’s voice. “Joe, leave him alone. Please don’t do this.” Brad started pleading. “Please…I love him.”

Drew shuddered as the man unbuttoned his slacks. “No, don’t, please…” He was rewarded with a punch in the gut. The man spoke again. “He needs to pay for what he did to my life.”

“Stop it! Don’t touch him!” Brad cried, being restrained by Ryan and Colin. “Let me go! I need to help him!”

The man laughed. “You can’t help him now. Unless you do as I say.”

“Anything.” Brad agreed. “Anything, just don’t hurt him, please.”

“First, you tell Dan I want my job back.”

“Okay.” They didn’t bother with saying he wouldn’t get it, they had to get Drew out of there. The man turned to Drew, and Brad saw his chance. He lunged at him and wrestled him away, pinning him.

“Ryan, call the police!”

“Already done.” The sirens roared, and as they dragged the two men away, Brad untied Drew and removed his blindfold. Drew hurled himself into Brad’s arms, gripping him for dear life.

“Are you okay?” Brad asked, holding him tightly.

“Thanks to you…I was so scared he would…” He shuddered. “Take me home, Brad.”

The phone rang. Brad almost didn’t answer it until he saw who it was from. “It’s your Mom’s doctor.”

Drew answered it and after a few moments burst into tears. Brad stared at him worried, expecting the worst.

“It’s Mom…she’s…she’s…calling for me…I have to go.”

“I’ll come with you.”

Drew made it to the hospital in record time. His mother had taken a turn for the worst. He approached her bedside, kneeling down and taking her hand. “Mom, it’s me.”

“Drew…”

He had tears in his eyes seeing her like this. “Drew, I don’t have long…”

“No, don’t talk like that. You’ll be just fine; you’re going to pull through.”

“No…” She turned to him. “I’m sorry, Drew…I can’t deal with it anymore…”

Tears started to fall from Drew’s eyes. “Please don’t go, Mom…”

She lifted his hand to her lips and kissed it. “Drew, listen to me…you’ve been such a good son, I’ve always loved you…and…take care of Brad…he…loves you so.”

Brad, who was standing outside the doorway, silently started to cry. Drew kissed his mother’s forehead and whispered goodbye. The beep of the machine let him know that she was gone.

He shook and burst into hysterical sobs, Brad ran in and held him as he wept.

A quiet funeral for Drew’s mother was held in Cleveland, Brad stayed by Drew’s side the whole time. A month passed, and he’s finally beginning to heal. “She’s at peace now.” Drew would always say when someone mentioned his mother. She left him her old house which Drew talked about moving into.

“We’ll have it when we’re ready.” Brad said, kissing his temple.

“Thank you.”

“For what?”

“For everything. I’d never would’ve gotten through all this if you hadn’t been here.”

“I’m here for you Drew. Good times and bad. We’ll get through this. Together.”

Epilogue

Drew and Brad have now been married for six years. They are talking of adopting, and Colin and Ryan are planning their own wedding. Whose Line is off the air, and the couple live in Cleveland in Drew’s old home.

They are now watching television…

“In other news, the new president of the united states has signed into law the Pro-Marriage act, stating that same-sex couples get equal rights under marriage laws.”

Drew smiled at Brad. “It’s about time.”

Brad gripped his hand and the bands clinked together. “Would you marry me again?”

“In a heartbeat.” And there would be many more heartbeats to come.
