I have been lurking for a while but I felt it was only fair to come out of hiding and introduce myself to the community which has given me such pleasure ever since I discovered its existence......
So, here goes...... hello.
Okay, so I'm not the most verbose person on the planet......but after all, wasn't it Mark twain who said "  It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt. " ?
Why have I stepped out into the limelight? Well, it all started with a comment I made (anonymously, I hasten to add) for the previous post..... I supplied a link to a transcript and all of a sudden, I was force-fed cookies and I was given a nickname (a nickname which I have now taken on, albeit in a fashion because livejournal was being awfully difficult about it) and I realised that any community that gives you cookies and a nickname on your first outing, must be one to be treasured..... so I joined....

Needless to say, Whose line is one of my favourite shows and may whoever decided to cancel it be tormented by the fleas of a thousand dead camels. 

There are a few stories I'm extremely eager to see finished, although I don't suppose my eagerness to see them finished and the willingness of the esteemed authors to finish them are connected.....which is a shame. I mentioned "after hours" and "overcome" in the comments I made to the previous post but I will mention them again here...... I implore, beg etc etc (whatever it takes) the authors of these stories to wake/cajole/bribe their muse and continue these little pearls.... I don't know if they have been discussed before and I certainly don't want to pressure/stress or insult the writers but please.... I need a fix! 

Hmm.... so much for not being verbose.....managed to prattle on longer than I wanted.... sorry about that and, hello, again....

Welcome. :D I can tell you that Overcome will probably not be finished. One of the authors has left the fandom and the other has basically disappeared off the face of the earth. But you could always try and bug Kali to get it done.

And you seem pretty verbose to me. :) Anyone who uses the word "verbose" can't be a complete simpleton. ;) Welcome again.

Do I write?..... Well, one tries but one often fails..... My work (although, I suppose when I say work you may imagine something that doesn't actually resemble the results of an explosion in a sugar factory)is not fit for human consumption..... It's cliche city and horribly written at that.... There are far more talented authors in this community and I gladly leave it to them to entertain us.....

P.S. Most of my fic is made of sweet fluffiness, and while there's the danger of cavities and diabetic shock, fluff has its merits. ;)

I didn't want to pester you and darken your virtual doorstep about "After hours" but now that you have mentioned the slightest possibility of it getting finished, well, consider my tent pitched! However, on a more serious note (as I realise badgering seldom works), how would a life-long slave sound to you? I am fully house trained, not a bad cook and happy with the occasional smattering of fanfiction..... I suppose I just need closure (it is important to realise that, when I say closure, I really mean "a happy end")on "After hours". Is Colin still alive?, will this make them realise their relationship is more than a business one (Insert Duuuh!)?etc etc...

Well, you can always try doing a story in blank verse form! When the Muse is recalcitrant, trying another format might work. (7 Deadly Sins was mine.)

Hm..can't remember who it was but jolly profound they were too. I have bitten the proverbial bullet and posted a drabble.... Ha, that will teach you to be kind to strangers.....see how much you enjoy my company now!
