“To Touch, To Feel”

Notes: This idea just popped into my head.
Summary: Colin’s POV of why Ryan touches him.
Disclaimer: don’t own, don’t sue, I have nothing to take anyway.

Ryan is always touching me.  I don’t think he knows he’s doing it, but it happens all the time. 

A light hand on my elbow as we walk to center stage. 

A touch on the arm to get my attention when he wants to tell me something.

A pat on the knee or a squeeze on the shoulder when Drew is giving me a hard time.

And then there are the games.

His hands always seem to find my shoulders.

Or my waist.

He drags me out on the stage when he has an idea for Scenes from a Hat.

Or he drags me back to our step if Drew let’s me rant during the same game.

He likes to lean into me when we play Greatest Hits.  Our arms or shoulders just barely touching.

I often find his hands on my face during many games.

Helping Hands is our weird backwards hug.  He is always trying to pull me as close as possible.

And yes, he licks my fingers during that game too.  And no, I don’t think it’s gross at all.

Moving people doesn’t leave him much choice but to touch me.  The selected audience members have full control of that.

Slow dancing is another of his excuses to touch me.  I always let him lead.  I don’t know why.  Yes I do.

He always holds me just a bit closer than Wayne during Three Headed Broadway Star.

The Ravenous Boa Constrictor, kind of speaks for itself.

A hand on my thigh during Let’s Make A Date, is not uncommon for him either.

The kisses.  The ones the audience loves so much.  The one’s he always instigates.

And so many more I could list, but I won’t.

Why don’t I ever say anything to him about it?

Why should I need too?

I don’t mind it. 

I let him touch me, because he needs to. 

He needs to feel me. 

And so I let him.

You might wonder why I’m not like that on stage too.

I’m shy.

I can’t just touch him, unless my suggestion prompts me too.

I don’t *not* like touching him.

But that’s not my style.

Do I touch him like that in private?

Hell, yes.

The way we touch in private would never make it to network television.

We could star in our own porno movies, the way we touch in private.

Because like he needs to feel me on stage, I need to feel him in private.

That’s why he touches me on stage.

That’s why I touch him in private.

Oh, my... oh, my my... This is Soooo Colin - calm, sensitive, strong AND shy both. There's a give and take, yin/yang to their personalities and actions that really comes through in this.

I'm touched...lol!! I love this my friend...it sums up all the wonderful moments and I can see how important the one is to the other. My fave is the ranting during SFAH. I love how Ry pulls him back to his spot...tee hee:) I love how Ry needs to express his love publicly and how Colin lives to share his love privately. EXCEPTIONALLY DONE!!!

Impromtu touchie moment: In scenes to rap when Drew was making fun of the Vanilla Icee's Ryan had his arm around Colin and was holding him close. HOW MANY OTHER INSTANCES ANYWHERE DO YOU SEE THAT? "Oh we'll get jiggy with it..."he says...soo cute because he just holds him so close and lovingly...okie I'll stop now....sighhhhh.

it dawned on me that I need to clarify my shoutie...I mean in other displays of comraderie in tv shows etc, even in real life...(unless I'm too sheltered.) I don't see a lot of PDA between even the closest friends and Ryan practically oozies it...I admire that in him!!
