This I think, qualifies for the challenge that [livejournal.com profile] zekkass put out to us about using an unusual pairing. Well...I think it does.
Title:Only Once
Pairing:Tony Slattery/Greg Proops
Rating: PG for naked Tony*G*
A/N: Please read and review. Most importantly..enjoy!!!!

Greg sat hunched in the darkened hotel room with his head in his hands, his bare feet tapping against the ugly green carpet. His wedding ring sat a few inches in front of him, the glittering gold band reflecting the moon, that creeped in cautiously through the window from the outside. His head throbbed, he had a sickening feeling in his stomach. He had thrown up only minutes before, but he felt disgusting, and couldn't get the horrible feeling out of his stomach. How could he let this happen? Only three weeks of marriage and he couldn't even be faithful! He was a bad person, an unfaithful person. of all people, of anyone in London, it had to be him, one of the people he respected the most. His head told him to never let it happen again, but his heart ached to be wrapped in his arms as they had been before.

This couldn't happen again. He wouldn't let it. At least it wouldn't until they both were drunk, and sloppy kisses led to groping in a taxi on the way back to a hotel bed; which if Greg had his way, would be tomorrow. Greg flicked on the bedside lamp, hissing as the sudden yellow light flooded the previously darkened hotel room. A head popped uo from under the covers and glared at him, with one open eye at least.

"What's your problem?" the British man grumbled

Greg hopped up from his chair and wiped the back of his sweaty hands against his jeans.

"You have to get out of here."

Tony squinted his eyes at the clock that sat on the bedside table and groaned as he saw that it was only three in the morning. He moaned and let his head flop back onto the pillow.

"Leave me alone."

Greg pulled the sheets from the bed, slightly shocked to see that Tony was still naked under the sheets.

"Jennifer will be here soon, and I have to get ready. It's hard you know, to get the smell of cigarettes and scotch out of bed sheets."

Tony chuckled and reluctantly sat himself up as he retrieved his clothes from the pile they lay in near the edge of the bed.

"You might want to do something about yourself too mate. Scotch and the scent of another man, isn't exactly the scent of faithfulness."

Greg lifted his undershirt to his nose and cringed at the scent of cheap liquor and aftershave.

"Tony?"

Tony turned around and smiled at the other man.

"How did this happen Greg? You told the guys you would take me home, and I end up in your hotel bed. What would they say?"

Greg followed Tony to the door and leaned against it, wishing that Tony didn't have such enchanting brown eyes or such an infectious laugh.

"Nothing, because they'll never know."

Tony laughed slightly.

"Our secret then?"

Greg nodded as he watched, slightly heartbroken, as Tony opened the hotel room door. He grabbed Tony's arm and pulled him back into the room and into his arms, enjoying the feeling of his friend against his chest.

"Can we do this again tomorrow?" he whispered

Tony pulled away confused.

"What about Jennifer?"

"We'll find a way. We always do."

Tony nodded and kissed Greg quickly before leaving the room. Once he was gone, Greg walked to the end of the bed and once again, laid his head in his hands. He wasn't sure what he was going to tell Jennifer but at the moment, it didn't matter. He was happier then he had ever been in a long time, and he couldn't figure out why Tony, of all people, could make him feel so incredible.

Yay for Greg/Tony! They're one of my favorite rare pairings. :>)

"Scotch and the scent of another man, isn't exactly the scent of faithfulness."

That seemed like a very Tony thing to say. Good job with this!
