wl_fanfictionI decided yesterday, since I haven't written anything in a whie I could use these little proverbs I made up to make fnafics. I'm not sure if I'll write all of them because I'm bad at following through. But there's supposed to be five in total.

A/N: I’m not trying to shove a moral pill down your throat; I just figured it would be something different.
DIY
“Come on, Colin,” Wayne said with exasperation. “I need your help with this.”
The Canadian just stood by the wall with his arms folded over his chest. “Why do you need my help? You’re perfectly capable of making your own decisions.”
Wayne paced anxiously around the small room they were in; his fingers fidgeting with the hem of his shirt.
“But-”
“Wayne,” Colin cut him off. “I’m not going to tell you what to do.”
The singer was halfway through a tread when someone knocked on the door. Wayne turned to see who it was.
“Hey guys,” Ryan poked his head in. “What are you doing? We’re goin’ to be late.”
Colin sighed. “Wayne wants me to tell him what to do about his little situation.”
“Oh? What situation?” Ryan came completely into the room, standing next to Colin.
“It’s nothing.” Wayne waved his hands in a reassuring way.
“He got offered a contract with Atlantic Records and they want him to put out a CD,” Colin explained.
“Hey, nice going,” the taller man congratulated. “Why do you need Colin’s help? You know he’s no good at making de-”
Ryan stopped himself short when Colin glared at him. He gave a little nervous laugh, took a step back and decided to watch instead of speak.
“I just, I don’t know,” Wayne took up his pacing again. “I’m not really that good and what if I make the CD and nobody buys it? What will the company do? I’ll have no money- well, not as much money anyway.”
“Wayne, you need to decide for yourself. I’m not going to tell you if you should. And you’re a great singer.” Colin replied.
“Can I say something?” Ryan raised his hand.
“What?” the Canadian sighed.
“Wisdom can only come from the mouth of a person who knows what it means. If you can understand the words of those the wiser than . . .” he paused, trying to remember the rest. “than look not upon those around you but into your own soul for the deeper meaning of what it is.”
Colin looked up at Ryan like he was crazy. “What?!”
Wayne had stopped his pacing and had listened to what Ryan had said. “Where did you hear that?”
“Mac told it to me one day. She said it meant that you need to figure out things for yourself and not have to ask other people to make your decisions.”
Colin threw up his arms in exasperation. “That’s what I’ve been trying to tell him!”
“Your daughter said that?” Wayne asked, totally forgetting what he had been discussing.
Ryan nodded. “Yeah. I think she’s getting it off the computer though, so I don’t really know what to think.” He looked down at his watch. “Come on, guys, we really need to go.”
“We’ll talk about this later.” Colin followed Wayne and Ryan out of the room, turning off the light and shutting the door.
