Everyone thinks the obvious, the fans, the media, the rest of the cast, everyone. Sure Ryan and Colin always shared little touches and impromptu dances, but when you know some for nearly 30 years you become comfortable around them.
Brad smiled to himself. A more careful wacther would notice other things. Like how, sometimes for no reason, Brad and Ryan will lock eyes, or whenever Brad sings during "Motown Group" Ryan watches intently.
They were little things, but they were there. The subtle cues of a real relationship, not just a friendship, that no one even speculated about. Brad let out a soft chuckle and curled into his partner's side.
"What?", the form next to him asked in a voice heavy with sleep.

He sat outside on the loading dock afterwards, smoking a cigarette, thinking. He'd run through the sound check. He'd instructed the stagehands on how to place the mousetraps for the last act. Hell, he'd taken the car and run to Home Depot to get the damn traps after somebody'd screwed up and forgotten them. He'd explained to the stage manager that they wanted people up on stage, so security didn't need to freak out. He'd replaced the horns when the kids at the last show had somehow broken them. He'd made sure everything was ready. And he'd run onto the stage amid cheers of, "Colin! Colin! Colin!"

Of course, Brad will keep trying.
