IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN!

Happy New Years, everyone! :D And with the new year under way, it's time for the annual wl_fanfiction awards, where we pay tribute to all the friends and the stories that made us laugh and cry, that made us think, that made us fall in love all over again with our favorite pairings or introduced us to wild new ones.

I don't say this enough, but I really appreciate every single story posted that keeps this fandom and this community going. So let's celebrate them all by catching up on stories we may not have had the chance to read and by calling out our very favorites! ^_^

I'm posting the proposed 2010 categories here as well, though nominations will not officially begin for at least a week in order to give people time to play catch up on their reading. Use this list as a reference for what to keep in mind while reading, and also, if you have any suggestions on awards to add, remove or alter, let me know! I'm always open to suggestions. ^_^

*Neither "threesome" nor "first time" need to specifically refer to a sexual act. Other interpretations are welcome.

**In regards to 'less popular pairings,' this refers to any instance where a pairing has shown up less than 10 times in the past year, and therefore precludes Ryan/Colin, Greg/Jeff, Ryan/Greg, Ryan/Brad, Greg/Colin, or Threesomes--which have their own category.

***This is not strictly limited to "players."


After nominations are officially started, there'll be another week if not two for catch up reading before nominations are closed, as I really want to give everyone the time they need, and if you don't get to all the reading you would have liked in in that time, polls for final voting will also be up for a full week in order to give you just a smidge more time to check out any nominated stories you may not have had the chance to read yet.
