Okay, if any of you remember
ryanmochrie's Hickey Fic, (insert title here ((too lazy to link to it))) then you may also know I offered her that challenge, well as she was busy filling my needs I decided to take a shot at it too... well, here it goes...
Title: Out of Their Minds
Rating: PG
Summary: Ryan gives Colin a hickey on stage...woo boy!
Disclaimer: I am not associated with (that would be cool though) neither Ryan nor Colin. I don't own them (you could only imagine what they would be doing if I did...x) ) but I wish I did...
It was just a simple game , Colin kept telling himself, but he couldn’t help feeling like he had cheated on Deb. With Ryan. But that wasn’t what was bothering Colin right then. What was bothering him was the fact that he felt very content right then. Maybe even a little aroused.
Colin thought about the game of Party Quirks that brought this all about. Drew had announced the game and he was reading his card when he heard Ryan laugh. Colin looked over at his best friend and smiled, showing him his card which read ‘Trying to hide the fact that he’s gay, but failing.’ Ryan smiled at him but shook his head when Colin nodded towards his card to see it. ‘You’ll see,’ he mouthed to Colin.
They got up and stood in line by the ‘door.’ Wayne rang the ‘doorbell’ and the party had started. Greg was staring back at Wayne when he answered the door for Colin. The crowed screamed its approval as Colin’s quirk flashed on the screen. He pranced around trying to act butch and failing, miserably, just as he was supposed to.
The doorbell rang again and Ryan walked heading straight for Colin. ‘Oh, boy,’ Colin immediately thought. The crowd was even louder at the unveiling of Ryan’s quirk than Colin’s. Colin knew he was in for it as soon as he heard the crowd.
Ryan slid up against Colin and his lips descended on Colin’s neck. Colin was noticeably surprised, but he stayed true to character.
“Ooo, yes!” Colin moaned, then remembered the rest of his quirk, “I mean, uh, no. Don’t do that!”
Greg had already guessed Wayne, so he was watching from the safety of his own seat. He was bent over because he was laughing so hard. Colin could hear Drew as well, his hearty chortle in the background.
Ryan’s lips were on his neck again, and Colin was trying his best not to give away his quirk completely, but he was also trying not to fall too deep into character. He noticed right off that he liked the feel of Ryan’s lips, which confused him. But since he was on stage he decided to put that into the back of his mind for now.
“Uh, Colin and Ryan are two very horny guys?” Greg looked at Drew for help.
“Well, yes, but who are they playing?” Drew joked.
“Uh, Ryan is uh, he uh, likes Colin’s neck?”
Drew buzzed.
“Close enough, he was a giant tick trying to suck the life out of Colin.”
“Ah, I don’t know why I didn’t guess that. It’s so obvious.”
“And do you have any idea of what Colin is?”
“I have a few, oh... He’s trying to act straight?” Greg guessed.
“Yes!”
Drew buzzed again and Colin walked back to his seat.
“Wow, Colin and Ryan. Two million points for you! Just wow.”
“I think he gave me a hickey!” Colin joked, trying to feel normal again. Hoping that joking around about it would help.
“You’re just sensitive.” Ryan said, and to anyone else that would seem like just a joke, but Colin could tell Ryan was in the same place he was.
“Hey Colin, can I come in?” Ryan said through the doorway to Colin’s trailer, breaking the older man from his reverie.
“O, yea. Sure, come on in.”
Ryan sat down on the couch.
“So, uh, what was that?” Colin smiled. That was just like Ryan, straight to the point.
“I’m not sure, but-“ He was cut off by Deb bursting into the trailer.
“What the Hell are you two thinking?” She yelled at the two of them, sitting on the couch.
“Deb, it was a game.” Colin said calmly. It had always amazed Ryan how calm he could be sometimes. Currently Ryan’s heart was beating at an unhealthy rate.
“A game!” She grabbed the collar of Colin’s shirt to reveal a small mark on his neck, “He gave you a hickey! How am I supposed to explain that to people?”
“Colin, I thought you were only kidding! I’m sorry about that. ” Ryan couldn’t stop staring at the mark now. He’d actually given his best friend a hickey.
“It’s okay, Ryan.”
“To Hell with that! No! It’s not okay, Ryan. Colin.” Deb interrupted.
“Deb,” Colin looked up at his wife, “please, it was an accident.”
“An accident I have to explain to people! I mean, people already think you two are together, but this?
“What is this ? There is nothing going on between us! I don’t know why you can’t believe that.”
“Because that’s obviously a lie!”
“Deb, no, it’s not. You sound like you want it to be. Do you want out of this marriage for some reason?”
“That’s not it. Not at all. I never said that!”
“Who are you trying to convince, Ryan and I? Or you? Because it sounds to me like you’re trying to convince yourself.” Colin looked almost resentful towards Deb now. Like she was just trying to be difficult and they both knew it.
“I’m not trying to convince anyone.” She was wearing down.
“Deb, please, tell me the truth.”
“Okay.” Tears filled her eyes, “I know this marriage hasn’t been great, and I suppose I’m just tired of waiting on nothing.”
Ryan was mesmerized at the images in front of him. He had just watched his best friend’s marriage go down the drain in a matter of seconds.
“Thanks for telling the truth, Deb.” Colin’s voice was soft and calming but it only sent Deb into a deeper fit of tears.
“I’m….going…to…go to the…hotel.” She said in between sobs, Colin made no move to stop her as she walked out of the trailer.
“Colin, are you okay?” Even Ryan was surprised to hear his own voice.
“I’m just fine, Ryan. Don’t worry about me; I guess I’ve been expecting this for awhile.”
“As long as you’re okay. Um… can we talk about what happened today?” Ryan was testing the waters.
“Yea, Ryan. I have to tell you something.” Colin moved Ryan’s hands away from his collar, which is where they had finally settled after roaming around the mark on Colin’s neck.
“Me too, Colin, I think I liked that. I mean, well, I don’t know what I mean.”
“I think I know what you mean” Colin slid his arms around Ryan’s waist.
“Colin, I really liked doing that, and what I’m trying to say is… I think we should…I mean, could we do that, like, off stage too?” Ryan had moved his hands back up to Colin’s collar, playing with it nervously.
“I’d love that.”
Ryan slid his hands to the back of Colin’s neck and pulled him close, lips touching slightly, chastely. Then, again, with more pressure. Quickly the kiss became passionate, and Colin moaned into Ryan’s mouth. Ryan knew that this was the start of something wonderful in his life, and nothing else mattered.
