Title: The Hidden Talents Of Captn_Hair1957
Author: Sun Green
Pairing: Colin/Ryan
Rating: G
Summary: Colin has many hidden talents...
“Whatcha doing?”
Colin started. “Hey, Ry.” He minimized the screen on his laptop. The action caught Ryan’s eye and he came to stand behind Colin’s desk chair.
“What’s that?”
Colin shrugged. “I was just web surfing.” He started to close the laptop but Ryan caught his hand and peered over his shoulder.
“Slash Universe,” he read from the tab at the bottom of the screen. He looked puzzled for a second, then understanding dawned. “Aha! You’re reading fan fiction about us again.” A wicked grin spread across Ryan’s face. “Anything good?”
Colin squirmed. “It’s not about us.” Ryan’s grin widened.
“Is it a Greg/Jeff ?” He laughed. “Come on, let’s see!” Before Colin could stop him, he grabbed the mouse and opened the page Colin had been looking at. “Doctor/Jack? Wait, is this a Dr. Who story?”
“Uh huh.” Colin tried to reclaim the mouse, but Ryan was busy reading the words on the screen.
“Jack’s past is sacred,” Ryan read aloud. “When the Doctor’s prying becomes too difficult to deflect, Jack must resort to a new means of distraction - the time-honored art of seduction. By Captn_Hair1957 - whoa!” Ryan looked incredulously from the screen to Colin’s beet-red face and back again. “Did you write this?”
Mortified, Colin looked everywhere but at Ryan. He opened and closed his mouth a few times before he finally managed to mumble a reply. “Yes.”
There was a long pause while Ryan stood blinking in astonishment. Colin cringed in silent agony, not daring to imagine what was going through his head.
“But Jack and the Doctor aren’t gay,” Ryan said at last.
Colin shrugged self-consciously. “Actually, there’s a lot of anecdotal evidence that the show’s writers see them as gay - there are whole sites devoted to interpreting it.”
“Yeah?” Ryan regarded him curiously, then returned his attention to the computer. “So what’s your story about?”
“Well…” Colin cleared his throat. “This one is just a general first time Doctor/Jack. I guess it’s sort of humorous… they get stuck in the Tardis and to pass the time, the Doctor starts probing into Jack’s past. Jack’s fending him off, but he’s getting tired of it… and they’re stuck in the Tardis, it’s not like he has anywhere to go to avoid him, you know… so he kisses him, just as a distraction - but the Doctor starts kissing him back, and it turns out Jack really has had feelings for him all along, and so has the Doctor, and they forget what they were talking about in the first place and get really turned on and it gets all…” he trailed off as he realized Ryan was watching him with barely contained laughter. “Well, the sequel is coming along a lot better,” he muttered.
Ryan did laugh then, and bent down to hug Colin from behind. “You have many hidden talents, Captn_Hair1957,” he murmured, dropping a kiss on the top of his head.
A sheepish grin tugged at the corners of Colin’s mouth. “Yeah, well, that’s why you love me.”
Ryan nudged the computer chair with his hip so it rolled to the side. “Of course it is. Now move over and let me read this.”
