This is actually quite dark, but don't read too much into it, just my warped and twisted little mind doing over-time while it's meant to be concentrating on english literature coursework...

 

 

Reddy-purple marks litter neck and shoulders.

Bluely purple finger-shaped bruises mark hips.

Lips, bruised and swollen, a slight cut marring the upper one.

Red marks signal where nails have bitten into soft flesh.

Lines like train-tracks show where teeth have been dragged.

Eyes wide and shocked from rough handling and brutal words.

Each step, slight pain in pelvic muscles, a protest at harsh treatment.

A last look in the mirror before turning back to the bed where he is sprawled.

Awake and watching.

“You okay Greg?” He whispers, light fingertips caress marks he so knowingly left.

“Yeh Ryan. I’m fine.”
