Title: Never Let You Go
Author: desiredeffect
Pairing: Ry/Col, Greg's POV
Rating: G
Summary: Greg's speculating on Colin and Ryan.
A/N: More things for the 15hugs thing. Only 3 more to go!
---
One was rarely seen without the other. At least on set anyway. Sitting in the green room, it became how obviously attached the two were. Watching Colin’s face from across the other side of the room gave him some insight as to how close they were. Like they’d been conjoined twins separated at birth.
You ever notice that with twins they seem to touch each other a lot more then just siblings? That’s exactly how Ryan and Colin were. The subtle touches, brushes of fingers across kneecaps or the simple act of patting the other on the back as a silent congratulations.
The one armed hugs and close contact, fabric rustling against each other as they walked back to their seats, reluctantly separating to take their seats. Separated by the small table holding their jug of water you could, if one looked closely enough, see the deep longing etched in creases around their face as if separated by thousands of miles of land instead of just an arm’s length away.
Greg frowned slightly. He felt the atmosphere of the room change subtly as soon as Ryan entered the green room. Colin didn’t make a movement, didn’t even look up when he entered, but the slight twitch at the corner of his lips gave him away. Ryan seemed to gravitate toward his presence, engaging him in conversation, seeming to be conversing in a language that only they understood.
Greg shook his head and went back to reading his newspaper.
If only.

Summary: Beach kisses and the like
---
Colin yelped, shying away from the freezing cold water, but the hand clasped around his wrist dragged him forward into the breaking surf. Sputtering as he was promptly dunked by a wave he came up from the wave spitting salt water and curses, glaring at the man in front of him who was smiling with barely contained amusement.
“Funny. Very funny.” He commented acidly, trying to remove the grip around his wrist half-heartedly. The water wasn’t cold anymore, his body temperature dropping and numbing to the point where he couldn’t feel it anymore. That probably should have been an indication to leave the water but the biting wind whistling overhead made him shiver. He couldn’t decide between the lesser of two evils and the hand circling his hand remained firm.
“C’mon Col, its not that bad.”
Ryan smiled again and dragged Colin further out into the surf, occasionally slipping and falling under the water or simply being overcome by the waves.
By the time they stopped they were both soaked from head to toe and standing neck deep in the water, floating and bobbing along in tune to the tide. Seagulls circled and screeched overhead, tumbling over the thermals drifting higher into the sky, the blue dotted here and there with puffy white clouds. Colin looked up at the sky, lost in the intense blue of it all.
“I hate you Ryan.”
Colin glanced down and over to where Ryan should have been. But he wasn’t.
“Ryan?” Colin’s voice showed the first sign of panic, as he whirled around desperately trying to seek out the lanky form anywhere. Arms slipped around his chest, catching on patches of dry skin and creating a kind of delicious friction as he was hauled back against a hard chest.
“You rang?”
The answering sound was a curse as Colin turned around in Ryan’s arms, skin slip sliding around Ryan’s as the sea moved gently between the small space that separated them.
“I hate you, you giant lanky bastard of a man.”
Colin’s arms wound around Ryan’s neck and he lifted himself up, contenting himself with kissing Ryan senseless, tongue diving in and out of that welcome heat and fingers entwining in the blonde curly mop of hair.
“That’s why you love me.”
