[mod post] Updates, woo!

According to the final tally...we're staying stictly Whose Line for now, though the advertisement of other communities has always been welcome (as long as run by a mod first) and if you want to advertise a story, that's going to follow the same rules. And feel more than free to include a snippet of said story (as long as it's under a cut) to whet our appetites. ^_^

I want to thank everybody who came out and voted and voiced their opinions yesterday. That was a close one, wasn't it? ^_^ We had some great discussions going on. and great points of view from both sides. I think this was a very important moment in this comm's history, and I'm curious to see where the future will take us.

BUT! Have we forgotten? We've got other stuff going on! ^_^

I just wanted to throw a quick reminder out there that THE 2009 STORY LIST IS UP AND WAITING! Nominations don't officially start until this Friday, the 8th (and will run until the...17th, I think), but now is the time to start catching up on that reading. I've started myself, and wow, I missed some great stuff this year. (Seriously, I've got to pimp the Jeff/Josie story. Hot. ^_^)

And don't forget! While you're catching up on your reading, keep track of those comments for FEEDBACK MONTH! Where you can win fabulous prizes just for commenting on a story! Awesome, right? You got to catch up on your reading anyway, right? Might as well get a little something for yourself out of the deal. ^_~
