Fic awards nominating weighing on your mind? ^_^

What with so much wonderful fic to go through for the past year, it's hard to even know where to start sometimes. You're always afraid you're going to miss some wonderful story because the pairing or the summary is a little off or bypass an author when the list just gets too long and you just want it to be done. ^_^

A possible solution? How about a little hearsay from your fellow fans? Let's share some of our favorite stories from 2008 with one another and maybe pick up one or two that we might have passed by before. I know there are stories out there that I just loved, but I don't know if anyone is thinking about them now that it's come time for nominating.

So come on in! To keep this from becoming another huge list, let's limit to 5 recs from the past year, but give us more than just a title and a summary. Tell us what really moved you to love this story. Get the names of those authors out there and get us to love them just as much as you! ^_^

I'm so dreadfully sorry for the delay. And now for my fear that in trying to compensate for it, I'm posting shoddy work. But sometimes continuing is more important than 'perfection' ;-) I'm determined to get the next (and possibly for real this time) last chapter up before the end of the month. It should be more action-packed, to make up for this installment of descriptions. We'll see! Thanks for the patience and continued support!!
