Confrontations
“Do you make it a habit of grabbing peoples crotches?”
“Not particularly.”
“Then why did you do it on stage?”
“I knew it would get a laugh.”
“Would you have done it if you had been performing with someone else?”
“Probably not.”
“Why is that?”
“Do I really have to explain?”
“Yes. Yes you do.”
“Umm…”
“You’re blushing!”
“Am I?”
“Did you like it? Grabbing my crotch, I mean?”
“Yes.”
“Why are you embarrassed?”
“I shouldn’t have liked it!”
“But you did!”
“I know! That’s why I’m embarrassed!”
“Don’t be.”
“Why shouldn’t I be?”
“Because, I liked it too.”
“Oh.”
******
Kisses
“If I were to kiss you, would you get mad?”
“On stage?”
“Of course.”
“I don’t suppose I’d have any reason to be mad if you kissed me.”
“What if I kissed you, just for the sake of kissing you?”
“Are you talking about on stage still?”
“Not necessarily.”
“You would want to kiss me, just for the sake of kissing me?”
“Absolutely.”
“I don’t suppose I would get mad then either.”
“What if I slipped you some tongue?”
“The audience would love it, I’m sure.”
“I.. um, I didn’t mean on stage.”
“When were you thinking?’
“How about now?”
******
Hugs
“You like to hug people, don’t you?”
“Some more than others.”
“That’s what I thought.”
“So?”
“So what?”
“So why are you bringing this up?”
“I was just observing.”
“I assume you’re getting at a point here.”
“Well, you hug me more than anyone else.”
“You’re more huggable than anyone else.”
“I am not.”
“Oh yes you are.”
“You like hugging me, then?”
“Stupid question.”
“What if you could never hug me again?”
“That would never happen.”
“Just say it were the case.”
“I’d probably go into withdrawal and get depressed.”
“Really?”
“Yes.”
“Then we’d better never let that happen.”
******
Argument
“Why are you so angry at me?”
“You know why!”
“No! I don’t know why!”
“You were all over him today!”
“What the hell are you talking about?”
“You couldn’t keep your hands off of him!”
“That’s ridiculous.”
“Oh! So I’m ridiculous now!”
“I didn’t say that!”
“You implied it!”
“I wasn’t all over him, and I certainly didn’t enjoy it.”
“Yeah, right.”
“It’s the truth.”
“You sure looked like you were enjoying it.”
“It was just part of my suggestion.”
“Maybe.”
“Can we just drop it and get dinner please?”
“We can get dinner, but I’m not dropping it.”
Afterglow
“You’re amazing.”
“So are you.”
“I love how you scream my name.”
“I love how your eyes roll back in your head.”
“The headboard put another dent in the wall.”
“It’s a good thing we don’t have to explain that to anyone.”
“We should really move the bed away from the wall.”
“Right now?”
“And you wonder why I roll my eyes so much.”
“I’m falling asleep.”
“So am I.”
“Do you think you’ll be up for another when we wake up?”
“With you, I’m always up for another.”
“That’s something to look forward to then.”
“Always is for me.”
“Do you make it a habit of grabbing peoples crotches?”
“Not particularly.”
