Timeline questions about Second City years...

Okay, I need some background information for my fic series, and I was hoping someone could help me with the timeline here. I hope it's okay that I post this here. I know it's not fic but it's kinda related. :)

I know Ryan goes to Second City to start doing improv there. What year does he go? And which Second City does he join?

I also know Ryan gets Colin an audition at Second City, and Ryan introduces Colin to Deb. How much time is Ryan with Second City alone before Colin joins?

Who got married first? I think it was Colin, but I'm not positive... When did Ryan get married?

What happened after they left Second City? Did Ryan straight away go into Whose Line, or did he do some other things first?

I think the rest of it I have down, I just need to fill in the Second City years and I'll be okay.

Well, thanks for any help that any of you can provide! :) I will credit you and give you lots of praise in my Author's Notes if you give me any information that I use in a fic... *g* And thanks for all the nice feedback on my stories!

Ryan goes to the Second City in Toronto. I believe he goes in 1986, and Colin joins a few months later.

As to the getting married thing, I'm not sure but I think they both get married in 1989.

Ryan left Toronto to go to LA, where he joined that Second City. While he was there he did the audition for Whose Line. I also know that Brad was, like, an understudy or something for Ryan in Second City when he was in LA, and that's how they met.

I don't know if this helps at all, but I know Ryan was dating Pat for 10 years before they got married...

I think Colin got married first, because Luke was born very soon after they were married, and Luke is older than Ryan's kids by at least two years. Also, Ryan met Pat after he met Colin, didn't he? And if they dated for ten years first, and he met Colin in... 81? 82? I'm not sure. The math is confusing. But it had to be at least 91 or so before Ryan married Pat. Also, remember that Colin met Deb when he auditioned for Second City; she was actually one of the people he was auditioning for, who decided he should get in.

I think Ryan met Pat before he met Colin. I remember because it's always bothered me. ^_^

It's hard to find exact dates concerning when they all met, though. Believe me, I've tried. :P

One thing I've been confused about is the time between Colin and Deb being married and Luke being born. From what I can tell, they're rather close; maybe close enough to use a shotgun wedding as a plot point. *g*

Colin met Deb in 1986 and they were married January 1989. Ryan met Pat in 1978, they started living together in 1979 and were married July 26, 1989 (Ryan mentioned this on a Mr. Cigar broadcast)

Although it's not that much new. "Soon after attending Vancouver's Expo '86, Colin moved to Toronto. There, he auditioned for The Second City (the famed North American comedy theater), where Ryan Stiles was working at the time. Colin worked at the Second City for three years. He first auditioned for Whose line Is It Anyway in 1990 in Toronto but didn't make the cut; later in the year he tried again in Los Angeles and this time was successful."

Also, I would really love to have Colin's exact wedding date. Anyone?

I was looking a bit today to see if I could find when Luke was born, but it's not anywhere. Most people can't even seem to figure out if it was in 1990 or 91. All that was said was that he was born in LA, but Hell, it's only in, like, one place so I'm not even sure if that's true.

Also, I read in an interview with Colin & Deb once (and I'd really like to find it again to reconfirm this, but I have no idea where to even begin looking) that Deb was married when she and Colin met. They didn't go into much more detail than that, only that Colin didn't think he had a chance with her.
