Advent Calendar Drabble - Day Five
Title: An Unexpected Visitor

Prompt: Day five: Sleigh Ride
Disclaimer: Only real in my head.
Note: I've been reading a lot of Pratchett lately, and this was inspired by the book Hogfather
Every Christmas, Colin couldn't resist staying up until after midnight. He knew it was silly, but a part of him still expected to hear sleigh-bells.
One Christmas Eve, he had fallen asleep downstairs when a large thump echoed from the roof. Jolting awake, Colin saw a skeletal figure descend from the chimney.
Consulting a list, the figure deposited several presents under the tree. It then drank the milk that had been placed on the table before disappearing back up the chimney with a HO. HO. HO.
Colin rubbed his eyes and decided to go to bed; he was clearly overtired.
