A young, unusually tall, thin man named Ryan Stiles was walking through the streets of Vancouver, the smell of hot dogs and burgers sizzling away on a nearby food stand, he had always hated that smell, the sound of some roudy kids playing with an old, muddy football and birds cheeping on the rooftops, he walked along his neighborhood with a slight grin as it was always as he had remembered. It was just another day for Ryan, he hadn't been able to find a job yet, he was only young of-course, but whatever opportunity he had for a job, he refused, as doing improv comedy was his passion. Ever since he was little he has always knew that was his dream, one day he hoped he would achieve it, he hoped with all his heart, but for now, this was just another day in Ryan Stiles life.

A young, awquard, shy man named Colin Mochrie was walking through the street's of Vancouver, he could smell hot dogs and burgers sizzling away on a food stand around the corner, he could here children playing and bird's cheeping. He turned the corner and bumped into a tall man. ''Oh!.. sorry, I didn't see you there.'' the stranger said with obvious care in his eyes. ''Don't worry about it, it was my fault.'' Colin said with a shy smile. ''Ryan Stiles.'' the man said with a hand out in front of him for Colin to shake, and as he shook his hand he noticed he had a nice firm grip, he liked that. ''Colin Mochrie.''

***

Ryan had bumped into this awquard man named Colin, after introducing himself he noticed that Colin had a badge on his plaid shirt which read ''Improv is the new black'', Ryan was alarmed at first but it quickly turned to joy. ''Hey, nice badge, I have the exact same one.'' Ryan never knew anyone who loved improv comedy like he did, maybe Colin could be into it as much as he was.

***

After Ryan had questioned him about the badge Colin was intrigued, the only guy who was as interested as Colin was about improv comedy was his old friend Gary, but Gary had lived in New Zealand for two years now and they were slowly losing their friendship, maybe this was fate? Colin didn't know, but what he did know was, that this new man, Ryan, was going to be a great friend.

***

They went to a cafe across the street, as much to both to their surprise they both ordered the same drink, 7 up, that was their first thing in common. After spending two hours sitting in the cafe, going through four 7 up's each, they both learnt so much about eachother and they both liked what was happening, they were becoming friends.

They came out of the cafe all smiles with a spring in their step and had arranged to meet again tomorow, same time same place. Ryan was so happy that he had found someone who loved improv, but was even more happy that Colin was a really lovely guy. Colin was beaming when he went home that night, he had found someone who shared his interests and someone who seemed loyal, kind and a good person.

They may have only met today, but deep down they both knew this was a start of something great.
